I guess you can say that it started at a young age. From giving my dolls haircuts and doing their makeup by four years old, then asking everyone around me if I can paint their nails and apply their lipgloss shortly after that, I don't think anyone is surprised at the fact that life has guided me into the beauty space. I'll never forget my Cabbage Patch Doll that I received as a gift at the age of 7; She came with the cutest hair clips and a front-pouch in her dress for her makeup stencils and supplies. I miss her! Moving on to my early teens, I've naturally discovered my love for makeup at about 11 or 12, began applying a full face by 13, and of course, that eventually led me to becoming a professional makeup artist for a well-known makeup brand. I could talk about my involvement in the beauty industry forever, as I've been very fortunate to have been able to experience as much as I have!
No, purchasing product is so easy, and is usually ready for pickup immediately upon receiving payment. If you're unsure what product is right for you, I do offer a one hour comprehensive skin consultation, where the complete cost of the consultation is then applied as a credit to any product purchased, or to any recommended skin treatment! If you only need a couple new recommendations and don't care to learn more about your skin, you can also just text me.
No, this is such a myth! It is physically and humanly impossible for your hair follicle to expand, just because you cut the hair at the surface. Analogy time: Picture a takeout drink with a straw. Now, cut the straw at the base of the lid. Then, push the rest of the straw out from the lid. Did the straw get thicker and darker? No, because it's not possible for an already-existing object to become thicker and darker, just because you cut it.
In short, I pretty much do every service that's on my menu to myself at one point or an other (with the exception of lash extensions and tattoos). In terms of lashes and brows, I make sure that I at least have them tinted every three weeks, as it really helps to save me time in the morning. In terms of skin, I rotate between every treatment that I offer, depending on what my skin needs at the time.
